Travay is a general term for doing spiritual work (e.g., love spells, prosperity rituals, protections). Someone may say, "M'ap travay pou ou" (I will work for you), meaning they will cast a spell or do ritual work on your behalf. And we do offer a great number of travay for a variety of situations. Some being:
 
Wanga – A spell, charm, or magical work, often used for love, protection, revenge, justice, or wealth. It typically involves physical objects like powders, herbs, dolls, or mojo bags.
 
Pwen – This is a working done through activating a spiritual energy. A Pwen can be an object (like a charged stone, charm, or fetish) or an unseen force tied to a spirit.
 
Gad/Garde – A protective amulet, talisman, or charm that shields a person from harm, evil spirits, curses, or misfortune. Similar to a Wanga de Protection but often longer-lasting.
 
Boutey – Literally a bottle spell which involves placing magical ingredients inside a bottle, sealed and charged, to create a protective barrier, send harm, or bind a situation.
 
Towe – This means to tie, as in a binding spell used to tie up an enemy, prevent harm, or stop someone from interfering in your affairs. Often involves string, knots, or physical restraints.
 
Tire Misyò (Sending a Mission) – A ritual to send a spirit (Lwa or the Dead) to perform a task, whether for revenge, protection, or assistance in life.
 
Renmen (Love workings), including attraction, binding, and reconciliation work.
 
Retire Pwen – Undoing a curse or spell.
 
Benediksyon (Blessing Rituals) – Asking the Lwa to bring luck, success, or healing.
